Bamboo Charcoal Discs

Commonly used for burning resins, herbs, and loose incense.

Instructions for use:

Place rock salt or sand in the bottom of a heatproof dish.

Use tongs to hold the charcoal disc over the flame of a candle for up to 1 minute.

Once you feel the heat from the edge you are lighting (do not directly touch it!) place the disc on your heatproof dish. The heat will begin to slowly spread across the disc on its own.

Now place a small pinch of your desired resin or herbs on top of the section of the charcoal disc that is already hot and allow it to smoulder.

Carefully tend to the incense like you would a fire by moving the ash aside and topping up with a small amount of fresh incense as required.

Please note: Our bamboo charcoal discs do not contain the quick light chemical coating and will need to be held over an open flame for a bit longer than the “Quick Lite” variety.
